The Information of Elizabeth Dyer< no role > the Wife of
Thomas Dyer< no role > of Newgate Street in the Parish
of Christchurch London Turner taken, on oath this
third day of August in the Year of our Lord
one thousand seven hundred and thirty three
before Joseph Kirke< no role > Esquire one of his Majesties
Justices of the Peace for the County of Kent
at brayford in the said County

The said Informant Elizabeth Dyer< no role > saith that five hundred
and twenty five Guineas five Moidoes and two half
Moidoes a Portugal piece of Gold of the Value of nine
Shillings sterling and thirty six pounds in silver Eight
Plain Gold Rings and two old Purses (whichbut of
what value the said Rings or purses are she doth not know)
which money Rings and purses were the goods of the said
Thomas Dyer< no role > and were locked up in a Chest of Drawers in
the house of the said Thomas Dyer< no role > in Newgate Street
aforesaid between the hours of ten and Eleven of the
Clock in the forenoon of the second day of this Instant
August And that before nine of the Clock in the Evening
of the said day the said Chest of Drawers was Feloniously
Broken open and the said money Rings and purses were
Feloniously taken out of the said Chest of Drawers
between the said hours of ten in the Morning and nine in
the Evening of the said day And the said Elizabeth Dyer< no role >
further saith that she beleives John Bromley< no role > who as
she beleives is about the age of twenty years and an
Apprentice to the said Thomas Dyer< no role > Feloniously look the
said money Rings and purses out of the said Chest of
Drawers for that the said two old Purses and three Moidoes
one broad Piece and nineteen Guineas were found upon
the said John Bromley< no role > in the presence of her the said
Elizabeth Dyer< no role > and the said John Bromley< no role > then declard
that he look the said Purses and money out of the said
Chest of Drawers
