George Robinson< no role > of Bodmyn in the County of Cornwall Esqr maketh
oath that he being Mayor of the Burrough of Helstone in the
County of Cornwall & a new writt being issued out for the electing
a Member to serve in parliament for the said Burrough in the
room of Sr . Robert Raymond< no role > lately made a Judge he this
Dept. is oblidged to go down to the said Burrough which is three
hundred Miles or thereabouts distants from London to be present
at the said Election not only for the Purpose abovemenconed but
likewise to proced to the Election of an Alderman for the said
Burrough pursuant to aWritt of MandamusRule of the Court of King Bench oblidging him
thereto and this Dept. further says that he believe himself to
be a material witness in this Cause agt, the said Charles Chambers< no role >
& that for the reasons abovemenconed he this Dept. cannot
attend at the next Sessions at the old Bayly in order to give
his Testimony in this Cause
