of the sayd County of Middx the 3d. day of
December 1722
Who upon his Oath saith that on or about the 27th. day of [..] or october
last as this Informant was goeing from Limehouse
to West
Smithfeild
in order to goe into Herefordshire
aforesayd with a
Bundle of cloath, upon his back, and not knowing the way very
well enquired the way at a shopp but was answered by two
persons whose Names this Informt. hath heard were Charles
Linch< no role >
and Morriss Linch< no role >
that they were goeing by the door
and that they would there him the way which this Informat.
was glad off and accordingly as they came near which
markett the said Charles Linch Snatched the bundle form
this Informt. out and gave it to the sayd Morris who sum
away with the Same upon which the sayd Charles was
immediately taken but the sayd Morriss went of [..] with
their Bandles neither hath this Informl. heard of [..] it forces

The Examination of Morris Linch taken before
me the day and year above written
Who saith that on Saturday the 27th. day of [..] October
last as this Examinate and his Brother Charles Laich
were goeing over town Hall bearing the abovenamed
Arthur Greene ask their way to west saith feild offered
to Shew him and by the why the sayd Arthur Greene
asked the sd. Charles Linch to Carry his Boundle for the
which the under looks and haveing Carryed it a little way
good it this examinant who went away with the
same and sold it.
