Hundred & Twenty Quarter of his Malt to ye City of Oxford
& Abington in Berkshire
to be theme conveyed by a
Barge to Bull Wharfe wch, Malt afterwards arrived there
& was sold by a Factor to one mr Nicholson a Brewer
at about One pound seven shillings & six pence P
Quarter as these Depts. have been informed by ye sd. Factor
And these Defts have been also informed & believe that
the same Malt being afterwards put on Board a Lighter
to be conveyed to ye sd. Mr Nicholsons Brews House was on
Friday the seventh day of this Instant October

reason of a Sudden Tempest arising on ye River Thames
unfortunately cast away & sunk in that River And
these Depts. further severally say that they made the sd.
Malt before ye 23d of June last & paid ye Duty for ye same in Chipping Horton
aforesd. according to ye severall acts of parliamt. in that
case made & provided
