of St Mary Hill Cheesemonger
taken before me this 25th. Day of
November Anno Dui 1715.

This Informant Saith That he this Informant
went (this Evening between five and Six of the Clock)
into the Swan ale house on St. Mary Hill , where were
Three Soldiers a Quarelling in a Box, when this
Informant spoke to [..] and endeavoured to
pacify them, and Said to them, the words following
vizt. you are Soldiers and wear King George's
Clothes, And one of them interrupted him this
Informant, and answered, in these express words,
God damn King George, He fight for another
man ass well as for him; whose Name when
asked. he owned to be Thomas Smout< no role >
