that he this Depont. on Friday the Eleaventh day of this
Instant February about Eighth of the Clock in the Morning
did came from Bruges in Flanders in Company with a
Gentleman commonly called the Lord Montgomery in the
Barge of that place to Ostend , where the said Lord delivered
to this Deponent a Letter directed to his Lady and desired
this Depont. to deliver it to her at his Arrivall in London
And this Depont. further maketh oath that on Sunday
the Twentieth day of this Instant February this Depont.
arrived in London and on the day following delivered the
said Letter accordingly to the said Lady's owne hands at
her house in greate Queene street London near
Lincolnes Inne Feilds , But this Depont. saith that he
knoweth not the said Lord's Christian or Sirname, For
that he never heard him otherwise called then by the
name of the Lord Montgomery.
