with him after the manner of an Apprentice to dwell and serve from the day
of the date hereof unto
the full end and term of Seaven years from thence next en-
suing, fully to be compleat and ended; during all which said term, he, the said
Apprentice, his said Master well and faithfully shall serve, his Secrets keep, his Commandments lawful and
honest, every where gladly do and perform; hurt to his said Master he shall not do, nor of others see or
know to be done, but that he to his power shall let, in forthwith give warning to his said Master of the same;
the Goods of his said Master he shall not waste, no to any unlawfully lend; Fornication he shall not com-
mit; Matrimony he shall not contract; at Cards, Did, Tables, or any other unlawful Games he shall not Play;
Taverns or Alehouses he shall not frequent; from his said Master service by day or night unlawfully he
shall not absent himself; but in all things as a faithful Servant and Apprentice he shall bear and behave
himself towards his said Master and all his, during the said term; And the said Master his said Apprentice in
the Art he now useth after the best manner he knows or can, shall Teach, Instruct, and Inform; or cause
to be caught and informed with due correction, finding his said Apprentice Meat, and Drink Washing
and Lodging The Parents or Relations of the said Apprentice
being to frade him Apparell during the Terme
