John [..] Lowther< no role > of Swillington in the
County of York Esqr being Exaied upon Oath deposeth and
saith That on the 2nd. Instant about the
houre of 10 at night Walking alone along
Fleet Street mett, with two Women (Vizt)
Elizabeth Prince< no role > This name instance is in set 2948. & Jane Blewett< no role > (as they say
or prtend their names are) & went with them
to the horne Taverne in Fleetstreet aforesd
& drank Part of two or 3 Pints of Wine
with them & afterwards vizt) in lesse then
an hours time the Depont. & the sd Two
Women departed from the sd horme Taverne
& went together to the Mitre Taverne in the
Strand , Where the Depont. in company in a roome with the
sd two Women (he being in drink) fell a sleep
at the Table. And This Depont. further saith
that when he [..] came into the sd Mitre
Taverne with the sd Women he had upwards
of twenty Guinneas of Gold in his Pockett
which the sd two Women Picked thereout
& the sd Women Goeing away & the depont. followeth
them & brought them back & searched them
before the Mat. of the Taverne & others & for [..]
four Guineas dropt from under undr. the said Elizabeth
Princes Staves [..] one Guinnea & a
half in her the sd Jane Clewett Stayes & one in her hand which
the depont. verily beleives to be his Etc
