Who being Exaied As to his way of living, & Abode, he saith
he lives at Lartington
nere Barna Castle
in Yorkshire,
& is by
Profession A Drover
is stockiner & came to London A little before last
Martinmas, with about six score head of black Cattle, Pte
of when he sold at Stamford, other Pte at setch in Norfolk,
some at Hampton Hill
in Norfolk, & the rest at Hoxon in
Suffolk. After which, he came to London & has bought
& Sold severall horses, & imploy'd his servant to gett in
the moneys owing to him in the Country for his Cattle wch.
he brought out of Yorkshire
, & about three or four times
he went down to his man, once within A mile of Colchester
where he reced of him about an hundred pounds, another time
he mett his man at Ipswith, where his man paid in about an
hundred pounds more, wch. he had before reced for
Stockings wch. he had sold for this Exaiant up & down in
the Country & thereabouts. Another time he mett his man
in the Hundreds of Essex, where his sd. man paid
him about ninescore pounds wch. was to other Ple of the
moneys he had reced for the Cattle brought out of
Yorkshire. All which Sumes he paid in the Country &
took bills for the like Sumes here in London. And being
askt where he reced ye one hundred pounds by him
