The Informacon of Willm Browne< no role > of
Packington in the County of Darby nere Ashby
Dela Zouch late servt : to Squire Dally at
the Blew Bores Head nere Clements Inn
in ye Countie of Middx vict taken this
29th day of Augt: Anno Dui 1692.

This Informant upon his Oath saith, That on ye Munday night yt
Doctr: Clinch, was Murdered, one Mr Milward and two other
Psons then unknowne to this Informt: came to his said Master house
at the Blew Boares Head aforesd in a Coach, and the said two
Psons went into a Roome of the said house above staires, and the
said Mr Milward (as this Informts: master and other told this In-
formant) beate the Coachman, that brought them thither And this Informt: saith that
the said Milward came into the house but stayed not there,
and left the two other Psons that came thither wth him behind
him, and this was betweene seven & Eight of the Clock yt night to ye best of this Informants remembrance And
this Informant further saith, that about an houre after the said
Mr Milward retorned againe and brought two [..] Psons
wth him in Souldier Habitt and all three of them went into the
roome to the two other Pson, and the said Milward Stayed not at all
but went out againe leaveing the two souldiers and ye two other
men behind, and retorned not againe untill about Eleven of
the Clock the same Night, and then he brought a Woman
wth him, and then they stayed a very little while, and went
away altogether Mr Milward paying the Reckoning, then ye said
Milward Ordered this Informt: to make him a fire in ye next
roome by nine of the clock the next Morneing, wch. was done
accordingly, but the said Milward never came thither as he
Pmised, and about a fortnight after the two Psons who first came
wth him as aforesd came to Enquire for him, and said that the said
Milward pmised to Meete them there or at the Boare and
Harrow Taverne, then the said two Psons called for a Mugg of
Beere and paid for it andwchwhilst this informts:went to
informer his Mistriss that they were there
Mistriss went up to
informe her son [..] that they were there, wth an, intent to
have them stopt, they Drank up theire drinke or pte of it & went away,
And this Informt: further saith that this Day he went to
Newgate to see one Mr Cole who is a Prisoner there for the
Murder of Dr Clinch, and doth very well remember that
