of the said Samuel taken this 12th day of Jan 1789 who being on their oaths say
And frist the Said Sarah for herself Saith on [..] Friday last the 9th Instant
Between the hours of Four and five in the afternoon She went and laid down on a best
upstairs in a Room at the said Sam Preston< no role > being intoxicated in liquor
that Mary Conner< no role > came up and covered her with a Brown Booth Cloth Clock
her husband propertySays about an hour after the person present who says
his name is John Green< no role > she saw in the said Room she not suspecting him
took no noticeuntilwhen she got up between the hours of Seven and eight

The Said Clock was not on said Bed nor in any part of the Room at that
time Says She is sure no other person went up stairs in the Time that
She lag said Clock on the Bed and the Time She went to make Said Bed but
the Said John Green< no role >

came to his house as aforesaid on Friday last until the Time the Clock was

about half an hour after did not go into the room where Mrs. Feather lag
and did not go up again until he went to bed about the hour of nine Say he
went from his Quarter about three quarters of an hour after Mrs. Feather
wanted bed and did not return for about an hour and half known nothing
of the Clock
