took out of his month two Shillings and a half penny that during the time of her
searching the room Elizabeth Smith< no role > said frequently there is no other person in the room
that she picked up from the floor several pieces of Paper amongst which was a
promissory note of Five pounds

John Mc: Ginnis< no role > a Watchman Sworn says that about twelve oClock on Wednesday
night last he heard Watch called that he went to the place from whence the noise
proceeded and found twas at LukeMaryMurphey< no role > 's in Cross Lane that a Woman opened
the door and he went in that Mary Murphy< no role > said there was a Robbery committed
up stairs that he then went up stairs into the room when he asked John Whitehouse< no role >
who twas that robbed him that he said twas the two men who are now prisoners and
whose names are Thomas Collins< no role > and Thomas Granger< no role > that on searching Granger
there was found in his mouth two shillings and a half penny that then on springing
his Rattle Michael Stack< no role > a Patrole came to his assistance

Michael Stack< no role > Sworn says that on Wednesday night last about twelve oClock he
heard a rattle that he then went to the place from whence the noise proceeded which
was atMaryLuke Murpheys in Cup Lane that when he came to the door he heard
a Noise up stairs that on his entering the Room John Whitehouse< no role > said that he
was Robbed and that afterwards he took the Prisoners to the found house

George Meachum< no role > Sworn says that on Thursday Morning last he went with Jacob
Freeman
< no role > and Edward Tredway< no role > Constables to the house of LukeMaryMurphey< no role > in Cross Lane
in search of Thomas Messenger< no role > that on searching the room where the robbery was committed he
found two pieces of Notes that he then went to the round house where he was sent for by
the prosecutor and that he there searched Thomas Messenger< no role > (who had been taken and brought
there by the Prosecutor) and found on him a Pocket Handkerchief which Handkerchief the Prosecutor
Swears to be his in which was a Duplicate of a Handkerchief pawned that day for two shillings
that on going to the Pawn brokers and the Handkerchief being shewn to the Prosecutor he swears [..] to

Daniel Clarke< no role > Sworn says that he is a Clerk to Samuel Wood< no role > in Pawnbroker in Drury Lane that on Thursday
last about Nine oClock in the Morning Thomas Messenger< no role > came to his Masters shop and pawned a Handkerchief
for two Shillings which Handkerchief the Prosecutor swears to be his

James Beech< no role > Constable Sworn says that he was Constable of the Night on Wednesday last that between twelve
and one oClock at night the Prisoners were brought at the round house that the Prosecutor gave charge of them
and said he was robbed of Seven, five Guinea notes two half Guineas nd some silver on which he had
them searched and nothing was found on them, that one of the Watchman gave time a five pounds Promissory
Note which he has now in his possession and which the Prosecutor swears to be his
