Who being Severally upon Oath Say
And first this Informant Dennis
Mr Donnall for himself Saith That about
the beginning of October last he received
information that the person now present
who calls himself Michael Splahan< no role >
otherwise Conway< no role >
stood charged
in the County of Waterford
in the
Kingdom of Ireland
with the
willful Murder of John Connelly< no role >
and on the 19th. of same Month this
Informant Received the following letter
"Mr. Dens. Mc Donnall< no role >
, I this moment
"received your letter, am now attending
"our County assizes & shall the moment
" I return home give you every information
"you require, should such a thing have
"happened I live near a Tallow
, but
"am not a Magistrate for the County
"Waterford
therefore no examinations
"of that sort came before me nevertheless
"I think it every good mans duty to
"assist in punishing so hornd a deed
"as murder I am Sir Your very obedt.
