on his oath says this Morning between the Hours of Ten
and Eleven The person present who says his name is Richard Gowen< no role >
and
another man came into his said Masters house and had Two pints of two
penny WarmedThat there were many Pewter pot measures put to Dry near
the fire which caused him to Watch them by means of a Window in the Back Room
and saw the man who came in with the said Richard Gower< no role >
hand to the said Richard
one of the pint pots hanging to dry andthesaw him put the said Pot into his right
hand Coat Pocket That he went and called Mr. Scipio Cope< no role >
of Cock hill
to his Assistance
who with himand that this Informant stopped the said Richard Gower< no role >
put as he came
out of his said Masters house and on Searching him found The Quart Pewter Pot and
the pint pewter pot and knife produced Says The said Two pewter pots are his said
Masters property. The knife he cannot Swear to
