The Information of William Russell< no role > and John Burgess< no role > taken
on Oath the 28th day of September 1786 before
me one of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex .

Who William Russell< no role > on his Oath Saith that he is a Servant but now
out of Place, That about [..] three or four weeks ago
believes it to be on a Friday about Nine O'Clock at night he was then
in Aldersgate Street London at a Coach stand, he had the Care
of a Hackney Coach No. 292 and the Coachmans Great Coat on of
a light Colour, Two mencamecoming by, one of them came
to this Informant and asked him if he was hired, he answered
no, then the man said drive up to the Ivy house in Goswell
Street [..] and told him to turn about, the man got on the
Coach box with him and the Coachman whose name is John
Burgess
< no role > with them to the Ivy house, he was then ordered
to turn about which he did and to stop, and in a few Minutes
afterwards two men came to the Coach each of them
having a large Bagg with some thing in it, and some other
men were following the Baggs were put into the Coach
and the two men who brought the bags got into the Coach
but while they were putting the bags in this Informant
said he hoped it was not Snuggled Good's, they said no,
and told him to drive to Browns Lane Spital fields , and
those in the Coach wished the others a good night and parted
when he came to Browns Lane he stopt at a Passage [..] in the
said Lane as he was directed by the people in the Coach they
got out and one went some where and fetched a Woman
one of the men that was in the Coach carried away one
of the Bundles and son afterwards the other man carried
the other Bundles away One of the men Ordered the Woman
to pay him for the Coach hire, [..] he received three Shillings
or three shillings and six pence is not certain which but the
[..] Woman gave him two pence more then they went
away, and Informant went with the Coach to Gracious street
for more business

John Burgess< no role > Saith on his Oath that he was present
with the above mentioned William Russell< no role > at the time and
