Upon his Oath Saith That belived next door to [..]
the deceased lived that as he was standing at his
Door on Saturday Morning last about Nine oClock
he heard Mrs. Hawkins scream out he went
into the Shop asked her what was the Matter
and saw her endeavouring to got the Door of the
little Room door open. Deponent formed the Door
open and immediately saw the Deceased laying
upon the floor with the Throat out. Mrs Hawkins
do said Deponent to go for a Surgeon but he said
it was useless as the deceased was quite dead
he then went for Mrs. Hawkins (who was at her
Mothers) but he was just gone to the deceased
House and Deponent then Returned then also and in
about a quarter of an hour afterwards he and
one Pilne went to search aboutSpittalfor
Mrs. Hughes.Mrs. Hawkins housing had a
search made all our the deceaseds House for
Mrs. Hughes but she could not to found and
hearing that Mrs. Hughes had yet but a [..]
Window and made her Escape Deponent
supposed she had out the deceaseds throat
Saith that the Yard of his House lays between
the Yard of the deceased House and a Slaughter
House belonging to a Mr. Dobbs in which
Slaughter House Deponent and Pitne found Mrs. Hughes
