Who being upon Oath say, and first the said William Tubb< no role >
says, that at about half part three o'Clock last Wednesday afternoon, as he
this Informant was going into Tottenham Court Road
, several Persons
jostled him and attempted to throw his down that he immediately
missed his Watch, on which he [..] followed a person now present
who calls himself John Foster< no role >
, having remarked him as one of
the Persons that jostled him, who was making away from him as
fast as he couldThat he is very surd the said John Foster< no role >
is one
of the Persons who jostled him as aforesaid wholst his Watch was
obstructed by several other, who were in Company with him
And the said Thomas Goodman< no role >
says that he was purcut at this
time, and saw said Foster in Company with several others
who attempted to pick several Persons PocketsThat he said
the said Foster with others push the said William Tubb< no role >

and jostle him amongst his CompanionsThat he is very sure
he saw the said Foster put his Hand [..] during the time the said Tubb
was jostled against his Pocket immediately after which he heard
the said Tubb exclaim that he had lost his Watch that he then
went to said Tubb informed him what he had seen and
assisted in getting said Foster securedAnd the said William

further says that between 3 and 4 o'Clock last Thursday
afternoon two persons now present who call themselves William
Bowman< no role >
and Dominic Adlum< no role >
(attended by a Woman) called [..]
on think from out [..] at the Bishop of Bristols in Davis Street
That
said Bowman said that they called on him in consequence of
the Watch which he had lost and that if this Informant would not
go on with the Prosecution the Watch should be returned & the
