The Information of Huxley Sandon< no role > Esqr. of
Chest [..] Hown Herts Lincombe Price of
New Inn Attorney , and John Kidgill Sandon< no role >
of Hodderdon Herts Esqr . taken before
me this 22nd.. day of November 1784.

Who being on Oath say and first the said Huxley Sandon says
that a Person now present who calls himself Lewis Henry Scipio
Duroure
< no role > , having lately clossed with this Informants Wife & hearing
last Night that they were it the Long Acre Bagnis, he this
Informant with others went thither about ½ part 10 o'Clock.
That preceiving they were in a front Bed Chamber one pair
of Stairs, this Informant went to the Door thereof, and upon
the Chambersmaids, opening it he went in, when Duroure
was standing at the foot of the Bed, and Informant's Wife at
the further site-That immediately upon this Informants entering
the Room said Durenre levelled the Horse Pistol now produced
at this Informant and fried it at him. the Ball whereof went
through the left side of his Hat and lodged in the Wainscoat
wehereupon this Informant caused him to be secured. And the
said Liscombe Price< no role > says that he was with Mr. Sandon
at this time and saw the flash of the Pistol immediately upon
said Mr. Sandon's entering the Room-That Informant went down
-stairs and saw said Duroure attempting to get out of the
Window-That upon Informant, calling the "Watch", said Duroure
presented a Pistol at Informant, upon which Informant told
him "He might fire and be damned". That said Duroure
knowing Informants voice begged him to save and protect
him", after which he was secured and in whose right Waistcoat
Pocket he found the small Pistol now produced loaded. And
the said John Kidgill Sandon Says that he was present
