Collen Reculest the above named
Prisoner maketh Oath and Saith that he
this Deponent stands indicted at this present
Sessions charged with having committed a
Forgery. And this Deponent further Saith
that he has by his Friends made diligent Search
and Enquiry after one Collen Reculest a Man of
the same name with this Deponent and of whom
this Deponent received the Draft in Question
and by the best Information he can obtain the
said Collen Reculest is gone to Petersburgh
but
that he is expected to return to London
in about
a Month or five Weeks at farthest And this
Deponent also Saith that the said Collen
Reculest is a material Witness for this Deponent
and without whose Testimony this Deponent
cannot with Safety Proceed to Tryal.
