head in the County of Surry Shop keeper taken
before me this 14th.. day of June 1782.

Who being on Oath says that a Quantity of Check Lawn
and Table Cloths now produced by Thomas Carpmeal< no role > , and said
to be found this Morning in the House of Ann Butler< no role >
now present, are his Property and are a part of his
Goods which were stolen in his House at Leatherhead
when it was broke open on Monday night the 27th.. of
May last.
