Informations of Witnesses Taken and Acknowledged
the Eighteenth day of April in the Eleventh Year of the
Reign of Our Sovereign Lord George the Third King of
Great Britain Etc . At the House of Robert Lloyd< no role > known
by the Sign of the King and Queen in Hare Street in the
Parish of Saint Mathew Bethnall Green in the said
County of Middlesex before Thomas Phillips< no role > One of the
Coroners of our said Lord the King for the said County
On View of the Body of Daniel Clarke< no role > This name instance is in set 3672. then and there
lying Dead as follow (to wit)

Francis Clarke< no role > of Grey Eagle Street Fruiterer Saith he hath
known the Deceased about Five or Six Years But is no ways
related to himThat Tuesday last between Two and Three
in the afternoon Informant was at his own Door the Corner
of Pearl Street And he saw Two Men Come running down
Grey Eagle Street saying they had got Clarke who Swore agt.
the Cutter's And behind them about Twenty or Thirty Yards
was a Great Mob (Informant thinks Thousands of
People) And the Deceased was in the midst of them
some were before him some behind him and some of
the sidesThat he did not know either of the Two
Men who Came first nor any of the Mob about the
DeceasedThat Clarke the Deceased was walking in
the middleThat he did not see any thing done to the
Deceased at firstThat he followed them into Hare
Street And when they got to Moseleys Brew house there
the Mob tore his Cloths offThat he had on All his
Clothesontill he got to the BrewhouseThat from
the Brewhouse they took him along Hare Street into the
Field at the end of it Called Hare Street Field Something
he walk'd And sometimes they Pulled him along
A Young Man in a Green Waistcoat Pulled him along
by the Arm and Informant Saw a Man a Full Moon
(Informant thinks an Fishman) Take some Gram's
Out of a Cart Standing near the Brew house and throw
