The Information of
Charles Causton< no role >
Esqr
.
taken before me this 16th. day of March 1769
Who being upon Oath says tha Sunday Night the 5th. Instant
his house at High gate
was broke open from whence were
Stolen FourtwoSilver Spoons two Silver Salts and several Medals
and Rings, and further says that he has Cause to Suspect
and does suspect that a Person now present who calls himself
Stephen Byne< no role >
was concerned in the Said Robbery for
that it appeared from the Nature of the Robbery that it must
have been done by Some Workman who knew the house
and that he has been credibly informed that the said Stephen
hath hud in his Possession several Pieces of Gold which
he did not know the Value of and That the Said Stephen
Byne< no role >
has been employed about his said [..] house as
a Carpenter
