Pawnbroker taken before me this
8th. day of Sepr. 1766
Who being upon Oath severally say and first the said
Charles Webster< no role >
for himself saith that on the 18th. of
March last at about seven of the Clock in the Evening be
was Stopt with his Son near Putney
Gutter in Surrey by
a Single Foot Pad who Robbed him this Informant of about
eight Shillings in Money and his Son of a Silver Watch
and believes a Watch now produced to be the same, and
thefarther says that he verily believes a Person now
present who calls himself Richd. Smith to be the
Person who Robbed him as aforesaid, and this Informt.

for himself saith that the said Watch
now produced was twice Pledged with him by the said
Richd. Smith< no role >
in the Name of John Richard< no role >
the first
time about five Months since the last time on the
second day of August last
