taken before me this 22d. day of July 1765
Who being upon Oath says that in the Night of Saturday are
Senight about the hour of one he was awaked by the Cry of a
Goose and Immediately got up out of his Bed and observed
a Dogg seizing a Goose and knowing the said Dogg to belong
to some of the Uxbridge People he Pursued to Uxbridge
where
he found a Person now present who calls himself Richard

passing along with a Sack upon his back and
he this Informant having three assistants with him they
took said Hogsflesh into Custody and on examining his Pack
found it to contain seven Ducks and four Goose two of which
Geese and three Ducks he is possitive were his property
and the same Night feloniously Stolen from his Premisses
farther saith that at this time sd. Hogsflesh after being
secured acknowledged his having Stole the same
