in the said County & taken by me Willm J Callett< no role > Esqr
one of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the
said County this 27th. day of March 1764

This Examinant being Charged before me by John Lawford< no role > of
great Bushey in the County of Hertford Carpenter , with
Assaulting him the said John Lawford< no role > on the Highway, puting him
in fear & Robbeing him of one peice of Silver Coin vallue Six pence
on the 23d: day of this Instant March

he the said Willm. Turnor< no role >
De [..] ieth that he Committed the Said Robbery, saith he lefts Dunstable
on Friday morning the 23d. Dined at St. Albans that day & came to
the white Horse at Idlestree that Evening where he hath reseded
untill he was apprehended by Loyn the Constable
