he could not help it Upon which he left him
& aftwds. sent his Man but deceased continued
in a Stupid State & counting & was informed
that he died this Morning & is of Opinion
that he died by taking Arsenic.

Upon his Oath. that Yesterday he sent him on an
Errand & on his Return he went up. Stairs & Deponent
Said he wished he would make haste about some
[..] he had to do has laid a Quartter afair
ham & than went down StairsStaid 20 Minutes
& their being he was long. said to a fellow Apprentice
lets godown & see what he is about very take by he is gone out at his Mind [..] is upto to do so:Deponent
went down Stairs & found him with a Bas [..]
his hand out of which he had drank something
asked him what he had done said nothing but went
up Stairs & shortly Afterwds. was taken Sick. & an
being asked what he had done Said he had been to
Mr. Aikenheads & bought same Arsenic which taking
taken. with intent to Poison himself he said
at [..] be Servant at Mr. Aikenheads had served
himSaith that about afortnight Since the
deceased an a Sudden Ran down Stairs from his
Wish & Said he would down himself-Deponent
followed him to the New River & Seeing him learning
