That the said W: B. on ye 2d. day of Novr.
instin ye 26th. Year afsd being in a certainGravelpit situate on Hillington
Heathafsdin ye pas & co. afsd.lawfully at work in
if necessarydigging Gravel in ye sd: pit it so happened thatThe
[..] projected
a certain large quantity of Earth which [..] projected over that part of ye sd. pit wherein
ye decedye sd. W. B. was so [..] digging Gravel as afsd. then & there
accidentally gaveway [..] & fellinto ye sd pitupon ye sd. W. B. by meanswhereby he
where of he ye sd. W.B was then & there in & by ye Earthye sd W. B.accidentally casually & by misfortune
was [..] ye sd. Earth [..] upon ye sd. W. B
in the sd. pit as afsd. then & theresuffocated & Smothered
of which sd. Suffocation & Smothering the sd. W.B did then
& there instantly died And so the Jurors afsd. upon
their Oath afsd. do say that ye sd. W. B. in manner & by ye means afsd accidentally
casually & by misfortune came to his Death & not
or. wise And that ye sd. Earthwasis of no value
