Oath that between nine & ten this Morning Dept. being on the
cause way at Blackfriars
Stairs heard a Man say a Boy was
lying there Dept. went over some Craft lying alongside at Mr. Eddington
beharf in Blackfriars
parish and saw a Body the deced lying
in the Mud or stern of [..] the [..] outermost Craft. Dept. and
some other persons got the deced out of the Mud into one of
the Craft & wached & cleaned him. that he appeared to have
been some time in the waterThat soon after a young Woman< no role >
who sayed She was Sister to the deced came & owned him that
an Elderly Woman on the Wharf sayed it was her sonand had
been wifeDept. had seen the same Woman last Wednesday week
and several other days since inquiring for the deced whom the
sayed she had missed on last Tuesday weekthat soon after
the deced was taken away in a shell

maketh oath that last Tuesday week between six
& seven in the Eveng. Dept being on Blackfriars
Stairs saw several
Boys at play in some Craft that lay the Corser side of the stairs
two of the Boys Rallsed to Dept. payed a Boy had fellen
over board from one of the Craft & that he was droped in brown
Cloaths & pointed to the place where he had fallen in Dept.
searched for him but without Effect [..] Dept. has seen the
deced & he answer the description given by the two Boys
of the Boy that had so fallen over board Dept says he
asked the said Boys how the said Boy had fallen we board
they sayed that he [..] was endeavouring to get from the Craft
into a Boat (pointing to Dept Boat) that lay alongside the Craft & by accident fell
from the Craft into the Water.
