An Inquisition Indented taken for our Sovereign Lord the King at London that
is to say at the Parish of Saint Bridget otherwise Bride in the Ward of Farringdon without in
London aforesaid on the fourteenth day of July in the thirtieth Year of the Reign of our
Sovereign Lord George the third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland
King Defender of the Faith Etc before Thomas Shelton< no role > Gentleman Coroner of our said
Lord the King for the City of London and Borough of Southwark on view of the Body
of John Tatham< no role > now here lying dead by the Oath of Cornelius Crowley< no role > Samuel Oughton< no role >
William Stitt< no role > William Barrett< no role > John Stead< no role > Arthur Key< no role > Arthur Hicks< no role > , William Hand< no role >
Bartholomew Fitzgerald< no role > Richard Watts< no role > Patrick Callaman< no role > and John Davis< no role > Good and< no role >
lawful Men of the City of London aforesaid who being now here duly chosen sworn
and Charged to inquire for our said Lord the King when how and in what manner the
said John Tatham< no role > came to his death say upon their Oath that the said John Tatham< no role >
on the twelfth day of July in the Year aforesaid being a Prisoner in his Majesties Prison of
the Fleet situate in the Parishofand Ward aforesaid and being then and long before sick
and diseased in his Body by reason of a certain fever of the said Sickness and disease
did languish until the said Twelfth day of July in the Year aforesaid and languishing
did live On which said twelfth day of July in the Year aforesaid he the said John
Tatham did die And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid do say that
the said John Tatham< no role > on the Twelfth day of July in the Year aforesaid at the
Parish and Ward aforesaid in London aforesaid by the Visitation of God died a Natural
death and by no violent means or Method whatsoever In Witness whereof
as well the said Coroner as the said Cornelius Crowley< no role > foreman of the said Jurors on
behalf of himself and others his fellows in their presence have to this Inquisition
