{The Minister of Penton now appeared & Complained to this Court
That the Charity given, by Mr. Reads will was not [..] ampty pd
Therefore deired this Court would Consider of [..] that affair
Thereupon & on debate of the Matter & [..] This Court Considering
of Mr Glove money which is paid yearly to the assistants
& for the better providing for the poor of Penton this Court
did now put the Question to withdraw half their Glove Money
to increase the Payment to the poor of Penton aforesd. which was
[..] Carryed [..] & agreed to [..]
Nemine Contradicente and it is hereby Ordered That the Renter
Warden do pay the Arrears due to Penton at the rate of 4s:10d
P Ann Andfor theit is further ordered that the Renter
Wardens for the future do pay £6. P Ann So long of it holds the Rent of £21 P Ann to the sd. Charity of
Penton & no more that being rather more than the Clke will
answer as [..] plainly appears by the Courts withdrawing half [..]
of their Glove money [..] aforesd

Minutes for this Court

Q. [..] New Bye Laws to be made

Ordered

The Church Wardens of Godalming desire the favour of this Court that this
Court would make an order for their Clerk to write a Letter to the Sevll
Parishes that send their poor to Godalming Alms houses the purport of the
Letter to be [..] to desire that the Sevl. Parishes would indempnifye the
Parish of Godalming from the Charges of Burying the poor who shall dye
in the Almshouses, before [..] this [..] Court shall elect such poor Men
presented by them.

Warden Haddon has reced £9:2s:9d for half a years Dividend [..]
on £609:7s:6d S.S. S due at Midsumr. last

He has also need 42:11:3 for half a years Dividend on £2128:2s:6d N. S. S. A due
at Midsumr. last

Auditors to be appointed & day to auditt the Accots. [..] Tuesday 17th Instant
Renter Warden to pay the Gardner Bill being £2:0s:8d
