The Committee for receiving Proposals & relative to the Vacant
Ground on the East side of the Minories late London Apprentice
Yard belonging to this Parish Reported that in Consequence
of Information they had received of a Person of Property being
desirous and ready to give Proposals (advantageous to the
Parish) for taking a Building Lease of the said Ground
They met on Friday the 24th. day of November last at Mr.
Walker's the Crocon & Magpie in Aldgate High Street
and after having Considered how the said Ground might
be Let most beneficially for the Parish, Adjourned to
Thursday the 30th. day of said November at the same
place at 5 of the Clock in the Afternoon to receive
Proposals from any Person or Persons willing to take the
said Ground on or Building Lease for Sixty one Years
And ordered that printed Notices of such their intended
Meeting on the 30th. day of said November should be
printed and distributed in this and the Neighbouring
Parishes in the meantime.

That pursuant to such Adjournment the Committee
met on the 30th. day of November last and received
Proposals from Mr. Jesse Gibson< no role > he taking a building
Lease of the said Ground for Sixty one years or for a
Ninety Nine Years Term being the only Proposals
delivered in Except one other which the Committee could
not take in Consideration on Account of the Rent offerred
therein being under Twenty five Pounds per Annum
(the Committee being restrained by Vestry who appointed
them, from considering any Proposals wherein the
Rent offerred should not Exceed Twenty five Pounds
per Annum) And having Considered the said Mr
