1733 at the Quest house in the said parish

The Gentlemen above named Settled the poor
Pentioners to Lady day next

This Vestry taking into Consideration that the Night growlong and many Robberies
have been committed Do agree that the watch in the sd parish shall be sett every Night
at Nine of the Clock from the 28 of this Instant until the 28 day of February
next ensuing and that the sd. Watchmen shall not go from off their Stands untill
six of the Clock every Morning and that the Constables Shall relieve such watchman
as they Judge proper on their severall Stands So that there shall belive on their
Stands and four in the watchhouse and further that the watch on their Stands
shall not light home any person or persons whatsoever In Consideration
of which the Churchwardens are to allow four pence each Night to the Beadle and
Three pence to each of the watchmen over & above what is already allowed them
by the Constables of the sd. parish and Coals & Candles in Proportion And the Churchwardens
to pay the two Extra watchmen to make up the above Number Nine pence a Night
The Stands to be as follows

The First Stand at Norwich Court End
Second Stand at the pump in the Butcher Row
Third Stand at Mr. Beals wharf gate
Fourth at Mr. Willifords Door
Fifth at Sevan Alley Steps
Sixth at Mr Danews Gate in Rosemary Lane

Ordered by this Vestry that Fresh Warrts. be made out to and it
Mr Webster Mr Cross and the four Overseers amounts
