maketh oath That She had a Daughter named Catherine by the
Deponts. first Husband John Richards< no role > deced That this Deponts.
said Daughter Catherine< no role > who did some time before christmas
last did in her life time inform this Depont. & saith information
this Depont. verily believes to be true that She was lawfully married
to one John Watson< no role > who is also deced That her said Daughter
left behind her at her decease three Children namely Michael Watson< no role >
Aged about eighteen years now apprentice in Bishope gate Street
London Wm. Watson< no role > Aged about Sixteen years also an apprentices
the Said City and Elizabeth Watson< no role > aged about Nine years now residue
in the Parish of St. Botolph witht. Aldgate in the Said County all of
Which are the Lawful Issue (as this Depont. verily believes) of her
Said Daughter by her said late husband That this Depont.Cannot set
forth Where the Said John Watson< no role > was legally settled & his Death
But saith that her Said Daughter did after her husbands Death being
a house of the yearly Rent of Eighteen Pounds in the Sant Parish
St. Botolph Aldgate & lived therein for a Considerable time & by means
thereof gain a legal settlement there That to this Deponts. knowledge
or belief her said Daughter Catherine Watson< no role > did not afterwards
do any Act to gain a subsequent settlement and that this Deponent
Said Grand Daughter Elisabeth Watson< no role > hath not as get done [..]
Act to gain a settlement in her own right to this Depont. knowledge
belief
