Elizabeth Hurley< no role > Singlewoman
maketh Oath that about Five Years ago
she was hired as a Servant by the Year
with Mrs. Marsh of Pheenix Street in the
Parish of Christ Church Spittlefields in
the County of Middlesex Silk Winster at
the yearly Wages of Forty Shillings and
continued in her Service under such
hiring upwards of One Year that she
has not since she quitted her Service
lived as a hired Servant by the Year
in any other Parish or Place for the
Space of One Year together or done
any Act to her knowledge or belief to
gain a subsequent settlement, and that
she never was Married, And further
saith that being Poor & unable to
provide for herself she has been obliged
to apply to the Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of St. Botolph without Aldgate
in the County of Middlesex for Relief &
has been believed by them accordingly
