Mary Hoskins< no role > the Widow of William
Hoskins
< no role > decd. maketh Oath that she was
lawfully Married to her said late Husband
at the Parish Church of St. Mary Whitechapel
about Forty Nine Years ago that her said late
Husband has informed her that he was
duly bound Apprentice by Indenture for
Seven Years to Mr. Watts of Dowgate Hill
in the City of London Cooper that he served
his said Master there under the said Indenture
about Six Years, And with the Consent and
Approbation of his said Master he duly served
the remainder of his said Apprenticeship with
his Partner Mr . Josh. Twynam< no role > of the Parish
of St. Botolph without Aldgate in the County
of Middlesex Cooper , that her said Husband
Since his said Apprenticeship Rented a
House of Six Pounds a year in Angel
Court in the said Parish of St. Botolph
without Aldgate & lived in the same upwards
of Thirty Years and was charged to & paid
the Kings Tax for the same, that her said
Husband did not after he quitted the said
House Rent any House or Lodging of the
yearly Rent or Value of Ten Pounds or pay
any Poors Rate or Kings Tax or do any Act
to her knowledge or belief to gain a
Subsequent settlement nor has she since her
said Husbands Death done any Act to her
knowledge or belief to gain a settlement in
he own right
