Middlesex ss.

Sarah Smith< no role > Singlewoman maketh
Oath that when she was about Eleven years
old she was duly bound Apprentice by
Indenture by the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of Bromley in the
County of Middlesex to Sarah Russell< no role > of
Seven Star Court Rosemary Lane in the
Parish of St. Botolph without Aldgate in
the sd. County & that she served her said
Mistress there under the said Indenture
about Four Years, when she gave her up
the Indentures, that she has not since
her said Apprenticeship lived as a hired
Servant by the Year in any Parish or Place
for the space of One Year together, or Rented
any House or Lodging of the Yearly Rent or
Value of Ten Pounds or paid any Poors Rate
or Kings Tax or done any Act to her knowledge
or Belief to gain a subsequent Settlement &
that she never was Married, And further saith
that several Years ago she was removed
from the Parish of St. George in the County of
Middlesex to the said Parish of St. Botolph
without Aldgate & was in the Workhouse
of the said Parish some time
