Banefaction of £50 reported


Richard Clark< no role > Esquire Alderman Treasurer reported that he
had received of Mr. Samuel Thompson< no role > of Saint Pauls Church Yard
Fifty Pounds for the use of Bridewell and Bethlem Hospitals It was
moved and Seconded that the thanks of this Court be given to Mr. Thompson
for his kind and Charitable Donation.

their Banefaction of 2 Guineas
each reflected


Richard Clark< no role > Esquire Alderman Treasurer reported that he
had received of the Right Reverend Lord Bishop of Norwich
and of the Reverend Doctor Layard Two Pounds Two Shillings each
for the use of the Incurables in Bethlem Hospital It was moved and
seconded that the Thanks of this Court be given to the Right Reverend
The Bishop of Norwich and the Reverend Doctor Layard for their
kind and Charitable Donations

Esquire Edward Allen< no role > of Cliffords Inn Esquire Cecil Pitt< no role > of Dalston
near Hackney in the County of Middlesex Esquire and Mr Samuel
Thompson
< no role > of Saint Paul's Church Yard It is Ordered that the
consideration of this Nomination be referred to the Committee of this
House who are desired to make their Report therein to this Court

£10 Mr. Fowkes Gift


The Revd . Moses Wight< no role > one of the Governors reported
that in pursuance of an Order of Court dated 24th. January last he
had made an Inquiry and found that Ryer Rogers late Apprentice
to William Edward Lunn< no role > was set up for himself in his Trade and
has the Character of a Diligent and Sober Man It is Ordered
that the Clerk do pay the said Ryer Rogers Ten Pounds out
of Mr. Fowkes Gift to be allowed him in his next account.

£10 Mr. Locks Gift


The Revd. Moses Wight one of the Governors reported
that in pursuance of an Order of Court dated 24th. January last
he had made an Enquiry and found that Thomas Allam< no role > late
Apprentice to Thomas Whitaker< no role > was set up for himself in his
Trade and has the Character of a Diligent and Sober Man It
is Ordered that the Steward do pay the said Thomas Allam< no role >
Ten Pounds out of Mr. Lock's Gift to be allowed him in his
next account.
