Marylebone Street St. James's Thomas Blackford< no role > of Lombard
Street Esqr . Murdock James< no role > of Serjeants Inn Fleet Street Esquire
and Mr. Thomas Whipham< no role > of Fleet Street were unanimously
Elected Governors of these Hospitals And It is Ordered that
Staves be sent them forthwith.

of £100 reported


Mr. Treasurer Reported that Edward Lambert< no role > late of
the parish of Saint George the Martin in the County of
Middlesex Esqr . had by his Will Dated 23d. January 1785 given
One hundred pounds to Bethlem Hospital

Strachan James< no role > his Benefaction
to £50 reported


The Right Honble Lord Mayor Treasurer reported that
he had received of James Strachan< no role > of Mincing Lane Esqr . £50
for the Use of Bridewell and Bethlem Hospitals it was
moved and Seconded that the thanks of this Court be given
to Mr. Strachan for his kind and Charitable Donation which is
unanimously Ordered and that the Clerk do signify the sense of
this Court respecting such his Benefaction

and proposed as a Governor

Right Honble Lord Mayor Treasurer to be Elected a Governor of these
Hospitals It is Ordered that such Election shall be determined by a Majority
of Votes at the next General Court and that Notice of such intended
Election be inserted in the Summon's for such Court
