to provide a Dinner at their own Bien Venue for the President treasurer
and governors to dine together according to antient Custom And in Case
any of the Stewards elected decline or refuse the Same The Clerk
is to supply the Number in Course

Upon Reading the Humble Petition of William Fisher< no role > Apprentice to
Henry Heafford< no role > one of the Artsmasters in this Hospital as follows

Gentlemen

I humbly hope you will pardon my Boldness in Troubling
you with this but being in great Distress I therefore beg your
Worships in your great Goodness to admit me again into your
House I have applied to my Master Mr. Heaford but he dont huse
to Employ me I have like wise applied to several in Spital-Fields
and other Places but can get no Work nor Employment of any sort
And not having any Friends but what are very poor and they
are as for of as Oaksey in Wiltshire , I therefore am reduced to
the greatest distress and unless your Worships will be so good as take
me again under your Protection I know not what must become
of me I therefore most humbly Intreat your Worships to take
it into Consideration, and I will Endeavour by my future Behaviour
never more to deserve what I have so justly suffered

an Apprentice


and also upon reading an Order of Court of the 22d. April last It is
Ordered upon the said William Fishers< no role > promising to behave well for the
future that he be readmitted an Apprentice in this Hospital and sent
home to his said Master

Upon reading a Report from the Committee of this House dated the
10th. June 1768 under the hands of William Kinleside< no role > Esqr . treasurer Mr.
Deputy Gamon Roger Staples< no role > Esqr . Mr. Charles Hoyle< no role > Henry Cranke< no role > Esquire
and Mr. Samuel Read< no role > as follows Vizt. This Committee finding two
Vacanices of Artsmasters in this Hospital by the Death of Richard Day< no role >
and Thomas Dunn< no role > caused an Advertizement to be published several
Times in the Daily Advertizer and Gazelter from the 7th. to the 23d. of
May last both Days inclusive as follows Vizt. "Two Appartments of the
" Artsmasters in this Hospital being now Vacant any Broad weaver s of
" good Character who are inclinable to fill up those places may give in
" their Names at the Clerks Office (where they will receive further Information
" any Morning before the 23rd. of May Instant soon after which there will
" be an Election" And accordingly Five weaver s left their Names and Notice
being given to them that the Committee would meet this Day to consider
of the several Applications that had been made the following Persons
