Mr. Deputy Tyser and Mr. Samuel Read< no role > Two of the governors Reported That in
Pursuance of an Order of Court the 8th. day of April last they had made Inquiry and
found that John Allwright who served his Apprentices his in This Hospital to Saml.
Geldart
< no role > Glover is Setup for himself in his said Trade and has the Character of a Diligent
and Sober Man It is Ordered that the Clerk Do. Pay to the said John Allwright< no role > Ten
Pounds out of Mr. Fowkes Gift

At this Court Martin Webb was Ordered to be made free of this City who Served his
Apprenticeship in this Hospital to Sutton Sharpe< no role > by Indenture Dated the 4th Day of
March 1755

Inquired after for Mr.
Fowkes Gift


Upon Reading the Humble Petition of Richard Williams< no role > Engine weaver
Setting forth that he was bound Apprentice to Thomas Keil< no role > one of the
Artsmasters of this Hospitals by Indre Dated 16th. Octr. 1751 to whom he served
part of his Time and that he served some other part to James Farnsworth< no role > and to
Remainder to William Cox< no role > both Artsmasters of this Hospital And by Order of
Court of the 2d. Novr. 1758 he was made free of this City the 8th June 1762 And is
Set Up for himself in his said Trade in Long Lane and Praying Some part of
Mr. Fowkes Gift It is Ordered That Mr. Samuel Read< no role > Mr. Saml. Bates< no role >
and Mr. Robt. Gamon or any Two of them be desired to Enquire if the said
Richard Williams< no role > be setup for himself and of his Hopefulness therein And
Report to the Court.
