Upon the humble Application of Mr. Taylor on behalf of himself
and the rest of the Officers, Artsmaster, & ServantsIt is Order'd
that the Steward of this Hospital do pay the Assessment made upon this
Hospital for the Window lights for the Year ending 25th. March last
amounting to £25. 4..to be Allowed him in his next Amount.

The Petition of Obadiah West< no role > Velvet Weaver one of the Artmaster of this Hospl,
which was read at last Court and then Order'd to be Consider'd at this Court was now
readSetting fath That he is the Oldest Artmaster of the Hospital, Has
brought up many Apprentices, who have Carried on their Trades with Success
but of late has had bad ones who Neglected & Spoil'd his Work, To his
Great Prejudice, and by other Misfortunes in Trade He is reduced & now
a Prisoner in Ludgate , And praying such relief as to the Governors shall
seen MeetThis Court having Consider'd the same Do Order
the said Petition be rejected.

This Court Proceeded to the Election of 3 Artsmasters in the Room of John
Burnham

< no role > Velvet Weaver Expelled from this Hospital And the Sevl. humble

and Ambrose Marshall< no role > Fancy Weaver being Severally read Each setting forth
He is willing to take such a Number of Apprentices As the Court shall
Order & to keep his Appartment in repair with Glazing, Plaistering &
Whiteing at his own Expence as is usually done by the Artsmaster & to
Complye with all Orders of the Court & Comittee made & to be made in relation
to Artsmasters And Each Praying to be Admitted an Artsmaster The
Governors Gave their Ballots which being Cast up the Number Appear'd
to be for each as follows Vizt.

Whereupon The Right Worshipfull Sr. Richard Glyn< no role > Kt & Aldr Presidt.
declared the said Richard Day, Henry Heafford & William Keil duly Elected
And it is Order'd that the said Richard Day, Henry, Heafford & Wm. keil
(Each one respectively producing a Copy of his Freadom of this City & delivering
a Certificate of his last Legal Settlment to the Clerk) be Admitted an
Artsmaster of this Hospital untill the next Election day upon Giveing
Security as has been Usually done in the Like Case And that the Journeymen
wch Each of them shall Employ in his Trade shall be such as have Served
their Apprenticeships in this HospitalAnd it is Further Ordered the Each
of them have such Appartments as the Comittee of this house shall think proper
