George Clarke< no role > Surviving Trustees of Ann Beaumont< no role > late of Hadleigh
in the County of Suffolk deced SettingforthThat sd. Ann Beaumont
by her last will dated 5th. Augst. 1701 Did (in Pursuance of the Powers
by an Indre dated 6th. Octr. 1691 Reserve to her) Limit & Appoint
a Messuage in Hadleigh with about 25 Acres of Land Upon Trust
after the Death of her Husband & herself the sd. Trustees & their Heirs
shou'd out of the Rents & profits of sd. premes Send yearly £10 without
Charge or Abatement to be paid in London to Several Persons therein
Named for their resptive lives to pay for ever the sd. £10 to the Governors of
Christs Hospital which they shou'd lay out yearly for ever Vizt. One half for
the taking into the Sd. Hospital One poor parish Child of St Giles Cripplegate
LondonAnd the other half to be paid to Bethlem Hospital for the
Puting in a poor Lunatick yearly whom the Governors of Christs Hospl.
shall Approve of But if any poor Person shou'd be Lunatick living or
born in Hadleigh such Person on a Certificate from the Minister and
Churchwardens of Hadleigh to the Governors of Christs Hospital shoud
be provided for in the sd. Hospl. And so to be received from Hadleigh or
elsewhere forever.

That the Minister of St Giles Cripplegate & his Successor shoud see
that one Lunatick shou'd be taken into Bethlem and one poor Child into
Christs HospitalAnd referr to the Will proved in he Court of the Dean of Bocking

That all the Anuitants are since dead whereby the Premes are Vested
in the Memorialists & their Heirs for the purposes in the sd. Will.

That at a Court at Christs Hospital 20th. Decr. 1753 Upon the Question
put They refused to Accept the sd. Anuity It being not near Sufficient for the
Maintenance of a Child in that HospitalAnd therefore Praying this
Court either to Accept the said Annuity given to Bethlem Hospital Or to
Disclaim the sameThis Court haveing duly weighed and
Considered the same doth refuse to Accept the said Annuity of £5
under the Terms and Conditions in the sd. will mentioned.

On Reading the humble Petition of Thomas Robson< no role > Needlemaker
Settingfoth he Served his Apprenticeship in this Hospital to Mr. Sharpe
And by Order of this Court has been made free of the City & reced £10
of Mr Fowkes Gift for which he returns his Most humble thanks to the
CourtAnd having Occasion for further Assistance pays some part
of Mr Locks Gift to enable him the better to Carry on his Trade
It is referr'd to the Comittee of this House to enquire into his
behavior & Report their Opinion to this Court
