Setting forthThat the Governors by Indre of
[..] dated 19th. Decr. 1749 in
Conds. of a former Lease Delivered to the Petr. Brown a peice of ground on
the North side of Wapping Street
near Wapping Dock
and the Presses or
Tenements & buildings thereon Erected with the Appurtes To hold from
Michas 1748 for 16 Years at the yearly rent of £17. clear of TaxesAnd
by another Indre of Lease Dated the same 19th. Decr. 1749 the Govrs. in
Cond. of the Surrr. of a former Lease I of a Fine of £170 Demised to the
Petr. Brown a peice of Ground on the South side of Wapping Street
whereon Several Messess Stood which were burnt down in Janry 1741
and upon part where of 3 Brick Messes & other buildings have been
since Erected To hold from Michas 1748 for 61 Years at the Yearly rent
of £8 clear of TaxesThat the Petr Brown being desirous of
makeing an Absolute Assignment of the sd. two Leases & Promes
to the Petrs. James & George Colebrook for the remainder of the said
Several Terms of 10 years and 61 Years now to come & unexpired
And praying the Govrs. that the Petr. Brown may have Lycence
to Assign the said promes to the Petrs. James and George Colebrooke
for the Remt of the sd. Respective TermsIt is Ordered that
the said Thomas Brown have the Lycence of this Court to Assign
the said promes to the sd. James & George Colebrook Accordingly.
