Upon reading the humble petition of Nathaniel Allen< no role > Setting forthThat
he holds under the Governours a Farm called Barston farm about Ten Miles
from Canterbury at the yearly Rent of Eighty Pounds the Lease whereof
expired at Michaelmas 1743That on the 26th: of August 1742 the Committee
viewed the said Farm and found the same in good Order but before a New
Lease was granted thereof they thought it would be proper to have a Draught
made of the Lands with the names of the particular Grounds that a Survey
and Admeasurement might be afterwards made if found necessaryThat
a Survey and Admeasurement hath since been made of the said Lands
That the petitioner proposes to take a New Lease of the said Farm for
Twenty one years to comence from Michaelmas 1743at the Old Rent of £80
P Annum Payable quarterly at th Compting House of the Hospital of Bridewell
London and with such Covenants as are usually continued in the Leases
from the Governors to their Tenants in Kent & to execute a Counterpart of
such LeaseAnd in regard the Petitioner and his Ancestors have Occupyed
the said Farm for above an hundred Years pastAnd praying the Governours to
Grant him a New Lease According to his said ProposallsIt is Ordered that
the said Petition be referred to the Comittee of this House to consider thereof
& to report their Opinion thereon to the Court.

Upon reading the humble petition of Thomas Clarke< no role > of the Parish of St: John
of Wapping in the County of Middlesex Salemaker SettingforthThat the
petitioner proposes to take a Lease of the Governours (with such Covenants as
are usually contained in Leases to your Tenants at Wapping) of Two Messuages or
Tenements Situate and being near Execution Dock at Wapping and late in
the possession of Francis Blunt< no role > deceased for 21 Years to comence from Midsummer
mat at the yearly Rent of £21 payable quarterly at the Compting of the Hospital
of Bridewell London the Governours Paying the Land tax and to lay out
£160 in repairs and improvements and to execute a Counterpart of such Lease
And Praying the Governours to Grant him a Lease According to his
said ProposalsIt is Ordered that the said Petition be referred to the
Comittee of this House to consider thereof & to report their Opinion thereon
to the Court.

in Southwark Butler SettingforthThat the Petitioner proposes to take
a Lease of the Governours (with Such Covenants us are usually contained in
Leases to your Tenants at Wapping) of Two Houses near Execution Dock at
Wapping late in the possession of Francis Blunt< no role > for Seven Eleven or Twenty one
years to comence from Midsummer next at the yearly Rent of Twenty Six Pounds
payable quarterly at the Compting house of the Hospital of Bridewell London
the Governours paying the Land taxor to pay the yearly Rent of £20 by quarterly
payments clear of Taxes and to put the premes into Tenantable repairOr if
the Governors will be pleased to put the Premes into Tenantable repair and
allow the Land taxyearthe Petitioner then proposes to take a Lease of the above
Premes for any one of the above Terms and to pay £30 P Annum Rent in
manner before mentioned and to execute a Counterpart of such Lease
And praying the Governours to grant him a Lease according to his said
proposallsIt is Ordered that the said petition be referred to the
Comittee of this House to consider thereof & to report their Opinion
thereon to the Court.
